WOW !!! What a difference a little update can make !

What a transformation !!
We removed the popcorn ceiling (same crown molding, only it stand out now). Tiled all the floors with 18" x 18" porcelain tiles, Painted out all the wood trim ( Ralph Lauren, "design studio" white ), semi gloss and painted all the walls - Martha Stewart "Cumulus cloud" flat , a soft white-grey with a hint of blue. Changed all the outlets to white - I think they were almond or very dirty.
